A Good Mom Knows When to Get Support

A good mother knows when to ask for support.  This is before any crisis occurs.  Everyone has to know when she (or he) has taken on more than she can handle.  We all get signals within us, whether a feeling of dizziness, a stomachache, lack of sleep, overscheduled days, the Inner Guidance (different from the chattering internal dialog) or what-have-you.

Good moms want the best for their children.  In the case of the Newtown, CT, tragedy, there were signals throughout this young man's life that he needed more help than his mother could give.

Was it appropriate that the young man's brother was "supposed to" be his brother's caretaker?  Only up to a point.  All persons have to have the opportunity and possibility of living their lives, especially as a youngster.  All siblings are meant to help one another, definitely.  This is different from one sibling being responsible for another one, especially if the one needing help has a mental, physical, emotional or spiritual dysfunction.  Dysfunctionality requires expert open-hearted competent help.

When individuals or a group are always silent, refusing to express their feelings, needs, opinions, desires or anything germane to who they are, this is generally a signal that something is askew.  Often, this lack of response signals that energy is building up, as in a pressure cooker. Without a proper means of release, this energy can -- and often may -- explode.

Just as overly angry, aggressive, resentful, dominating, manipulative people have to learn how to better manage their emotions and deal with the underpinnings of what is truly going on within them, so, too, do people who hide everything inside without sharing anything anywhere with anyone.

It is tragic that this young man, likely with his mom's best intentions, did not get the help he needed.

To have him living in a household rife with guns, plus bringing him to a shooting range, was incredibly foolish.   Perhaps target shooting was his mom's way to release her own stress.  Perhaps she thought target shooting gave her some control over a tenuous challenging home situation. If these were some of her motivations, she was also acting out, rather than doing her internal work.

    Both people needed help.

    Neither got what they needed.

This is something for all of us to look at within ourselves, our families, our lives.

Be sure you get the support you need.  Ask.  Ask.  Ask.  Find people who are competent to help you.  Be willing to give back.  Create a barter.  Find what you can give or share that will benefit the other person or someone else.  Life is an exchange of energy.

Also, Rather than taking on everything possible, instead take on a moderate amount of "stuff" to do in your life.  Do what you have to do as well and completely as you can.

The energy of the times is that of flux, transformation, evolution, where each and every one of us is called up to be responsible for our own lives, while also being supportive of one another's growth.

    Be wise in your choices.

Much love in the New Year!!!!

Love,

MamaHeart

Moms, Grandmothers, Children, Sensitivity & the TSA

What has happened to sensitivity, common sense, decency in the way adults treat little kids, whether those adults are agents of the TSA or others?  How is it that some TSA agents can ignore the normal upset of a 4-year-young girl when she goes to hug her grandmother, and, instead, the TSA agents call this child a "suspect," grab her, which has her yelling more, as the girl is frightened that she is about to be kidnapped?  Then, to make matters worse, the TSA defends the behavior of these very foolish agents -- @http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/25/tsa-defends-pat-down-of-c_n_1454410.html?icid=maing-grid10%7Chtmlws-main-bb%7Cdl3%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D155375.

As stated in the article, either the agents could have used a wand, put the girl through the scan again, or other techniques rather than look to isolate her in a room by herself (with strangers, something this child was taught to be wary of) or do a "modified" patdown, as the child had hugged her grandmother after the child had been scanned yet before the grandmother had been scanned.  Yes, we have to do something to "guard against terrorists," and, yes, terrorists can show up in any guise, age, background, racial grouping, manner of dress, and the like.  Yet and all, why do some adults throw any modicum of sense they may possess out the window and behave like petty dictators when faced with a circumstance of power-over someone?  Perhaps the TSA has to both hire people with more intelligence and the ability to think quickly in situations, as well as better train the agents they have.  Certainly, there has to be a shift.

How do we have some measure of security while flying yet also protect people's individual rights and dignity?

How do we each individually and we collectively as a nation live with integrity?  Do you live with integrity?  Does your partner?  Your child or your children?  Do you know what integrity is?  Integrity is being real, authentic, honest, present and complete in the moment, doing what you say you'll do, and being accountable and responsible for your word, behavior, actions, emotions.  When you "mess up," take responsibility and do it better the next time.

Where are you with this?  This country?  Politicians?  The TSA?

Share with me...........  Let's all grow and evolve here.

Many blessings to you, me and all of us ongoingly!!!

Love,

Mama Heart

Moms & Separating Church and State

Who Speaks forGod/dess? Separation of Church and State Plus Individual Freedom

When I read about an esteemed teacher, Emily Herx, being fired from her post from an Indiana Cartholic school and being called a "grave immoral sinner" because she in vitro fertilization or IVF in order to get pregnant -- @http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/25/catholic-school-ivf_n_1453524.html?1335386848&icid=maing-grid10%7Chtmlws-main-bb%7Cdl1%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D155337 -- I felt shocked. True, in this day and age, with so many "religious" people presuming to speak for the Creator of All, as though this person actually knows the MIND of I AM THAT I AM, perhaps I could have been more accepting of this piece of news.  No, I was shocked and dismayed.

Had the Ms. Herx been a religious teacher at the school, expounding doctrine to the students, maybe, then, yes.  Had she even have been Catholic, and told she must teach the staunch tenets of this religion to the students, perhaps, maybe, yes.  However, she was neither Catholic, nor a teacher of religion, nor apprised by the school of the doctrine or tenets that were to be followed, and, yes, she was honest, authentic and forthright with the people at the school, and she is denounced by the school, maligned, and fired!!!!  The school officials, truly, are the people who are acting in an immoral manner.

Ms. Herx is to be applauded.  Good for her to take the steps she needed to in order to become a mom.  I wonder how many of the school officials are truly loving, kind, open-hearted people exemplifying what any spiritual person knows is the core of just about any and all spiritual and religious paths.  This can be best explained as:

Love the Creator with all your heart, all your soul and all your might (by whatever name you call the ALL IN ALL from which we all come and are part)

Love your neighbor as yourself. (This, of course, presumes that a person loves her or him self, which, sadly, is too often lacking in this world, and is a journey in and of itself).

     What are your thoughts here?

Where is the separation of church/religion and state?

Should Catholic schools hire only religious Catholics, grill them in the absolute tenets of Catholic doctrine, and watch over the teachers to be sure these teachers are both teaching, speaking and living every single tenet?

What is moral and what is judgment?

How do you know when you are being led by Divine Guidance and when by egoistic wants?

You can reach me here at this blog that will be incorporated in the soon-to-be-released WordPress site, www.TheMothersManual.com.

May you be blessed.  May your family be blessed.  May we all be blessed.  May we all grow in consciousness, awareness, connection to the Infinite, and within ourselves.

       Many Blessings!!!!!!!!!!

Mama Heart

Ladies, Time to Step UP!

Hi, Ladies (and Gents),

I'm writing this as a letter from my heart to yours. Being a mom is an honor, a sacred trust. Rather than being an intramural sport, with the person with the most children winning, as though people are points in a game, motherhood is best left to women (or men) with consciousness, awareness, heart, wisdom and energy. This can be anyone. Having some finances in place is also wise.

We have been bombarded in the media with teenage moms, moms with gazillions of children, moms who abuse their kids, addicted moms, all of whom need help and support for sure. However, there are many more intelligent, getting-through-the-day-and-night loving moms, whether married, partnered or single. Ladies, make your presence known in the media, in your community, your child/ren's schools, everywhere.

Pass on wisdom, rather than stupidity and ignorance.

Take part in politics. Be a presence wherever you are. Take pride in yourself. Dress nicely, which can be done inexpensively as well as expensively.

If you'd like help, get in touch with me at http://www.themothersmanual.com/ or call me toll-free at 1 888 75 PEACE or 1 888 757 3223.

I have to admit that, spiritual as I am, there are times I feel tapped out with the seemingly overwhelming amount of ignorance running around. What some people consider to be food, I ban from my home. Yes, I used to have a major food addiction, so I absolutely know what it's like. Too many people consider white flour and white sugar as foods; to the contrary, these are actually toxic substances, adding to the acidity of people, which can cause -- what? -- dis-ease.

So, for how to become alkaline, go to http://www.goddessheartwater.com/.

Ladies -- and Men -- we have to wise up! Now!!! Smaller families are wiser than larger. Do you have the finances for nannies? What are you doing to contribute to the health and wellness of the planet? Ask yourselves these questions.

All in all, I love us.

Had to get this out of me.

If you'd like to hear me, go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ , and listen to MIRACLE MANIFESTING MONDAYS, live at 8 pm EDT US time.

My life is in major transition, all to the good, and I'll be sharing lots more, to help all of us.

Love,
